A. News for April Fools
- Apple acquires Microsoft, Steve Ballmer becomes Steve Job's personal man servant
- U.S. government outlaws Windows Vista - President Bush signs measure decreeing that Microsoft's operating system is so complex it poses a national security threat. "There's all these new colors and the startup sound is completely different," says one worried U.S. senator.
- Sony discontinues the Playstation 3, unveils Playstation 4 which is actually a Nintendo Wii and a XBOX 360 duck taped together and spray painted black.
- Macrovision has released a new DVD encryption standard that they claim is unbreakable, however it will not play in any DVD player. Instead you must buy a new player, which costs over $10,000. MPAA officials rejoiced and made plans to switch to the new standard immediately. The first DVD which will be released with this new encryption is Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector 2: The Search for More Rats and Humor
- RIAA begins to sue itself and its artists for recording their own music.
- Breaking news, RIAA officially gives up after losing a lawsuit to dead grandmother
- MPAA accidently unleashes attack dogs at a showing of 300 where they swear everybody was recording the movie with their cell phones. Following the attack, the MPAA announced bankruptcy after the filling of several hundred civil lawsuits and the promise by geeky wannabe Spartans that they will "dine in hell tonight"
- Microsoft changing the Vista slogan, as a result of the Apple purchase from "the wow is now" to "the BSOD is now"
- Jack Thompson sues Satan for breach of contract, on the fact that he has yet to win a single case regarding video game violence. Also filed was a lawsuit against Take Two Studios and Penny Arcade for conspiracy with Satan's plans. "Satan promised me everybody that made and played these games would be burning in hell buy now, but nothing has happened. " Asked for a comment Satan replied he was having too much fun with Saddam to care about Jack F'in Thompson.
